Fertility:

Pests & Diseases:

Slugs and snails can be problematic under wet conditions.
Powdery mildew and leaf spots can appear under improper growing conditions.

Potting & Timing:

Large, finger-like tubers should be planted 1/2" below the soil line with eyes facing upwards.

Moisture:

Consistantly moderate moisture is best. Avoid overly dry conditions.

Planting Level:

Eyes should be slightly below the soil line.

Lighting:

Provide light to moderate shade.
