Fertility:

Light to moderate feeders. Fertilization rates of 50-100 ppm water soluble liquid feed are recommended.

Not required for 'Blue Glitter'.

Plant in a well-drained soilless media.

Moisture:

For potting soil use a well-drained, professional planting media. Requires low levels of moisture, sensitive to overwatering. Water in thoroughly when first planted and allow to dry down before irrigating again.

Planting Level:

Plugs should be planted even with soil line.

PGRs/Pinching:

PGRs can be beneficial in controlling stem height but may require multiple applications. Apply sprays of Daminozide (B-Nine, Dazide) at 2,500-5,000 ppm or Uniconazole (Concise, Sumagic) at 5-10 ppm.

Lighting:

Eryngium is a long day plant. Maintain long days and high light levels for best flower initiation and best flower color.
