Fertility:

Provide with constant liquid feed at 75-100 ppm N.

Vernalization:

Bare root plants will have already received vernalization.

Pests & Diseases:

Watch for powdery mildew, root rot if kept too wet.

Potting & Timing:

Plant in a well-drained soilless media.

Moisture:

For potting soil use a well-drained, professional planting media. Requires low levels of moisture, sensitive to overwatering. Water in thoroughly when first planted and allow to dry down before irrigating again.

Planting Level:

Plant bare root with the crown at the soil line.

PGRs/Pinching:

PGRs can be beneficial in controlling stem height but may require multiple applications. Apply sprays of Daminozide (B-Nine, Dazide) at 2,500-5,000 ppm or Uniconazole (Concise, Sumagic) at 5-10 ppm.

Lighting:

Provide long days.
