13-week summer internships with flexible start/end dates

Full-time (40hrs/week) with half-day Fridays

Walters Gardens is North America’s leading wholesale grower of perennial plants. As an intern, you can gain invaluable hands-on experience with propagating, trialing, and growing our extensive collection of top-tier perennials. Within the rotation track, you will work with some of the best and brightest in the industry. We are growing, and we want you to come grow with us!

Growing Track

Greenhouse, Field Plant Health, Field Irrigation, Trials

Production Track

Tissue Culture Lab, Bare Root, Greenhouse, Shipping

Equipment and Automation Track

Greenhouse Equipment, Greenhouse Automation, Greenhouse Structure, Field Equipment

Integrated Pest Management Track

Greenhouse, Field, Virus Lab, Tissue Culture Lab

During rotational tracks there will be additional opportunities to spend time shadowing and learning in other departments.

Applicants must currently be enrolled in an accredited college and be a rising senior or have an associate degree or higher. Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Biology or related fields preferred.
